SHIPPING POLICY

howardbest ships worldwide from consolidation hubs in Hamburg and New Jersey. Most in-stock orders leave our facility within two business days; pre-order or made-to-measure pieces ship on the estimated date shown on the product page. You will receive an email with tracking reference the moment the parcel is scanned by the courier.
Rates & Delivery Estimates
Standard service to Germany, France, the UK, and the US is complimentary for orders above one hundred euros; below that threshold a flat fee of nine euros applies. Express two-day shipping is available for twenty euros. Customers in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and the Middle East enjoy free delivery on orders exceeding one hundred and fifty euros; otherwise the charge is fifteen euros. Remote-area surcharges may apply and will be displayed at checkout.
Carriers & Customs
We use DHL, UPS, and national postal partners. Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees, and begin from the day of hand-off, not purchase. International shipments may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by the destination country. These fees are beyond our control and are your responsibility; we declare exact merchandise values and cannot mark parcels as gifts. If you refuse a shipment the courier will return it to us and any import charges we incur will be deducted from your refund.
Packaging
Each item is folded in sulphur-free tissue, slipped into a recyclable kraft carton, and sealed with tamper-evident tape. Shoes are cushioned by moulded inserts to prevent scuffing in transit. Plastic use is minimal and all mailers are FSC certified.
Lost or Delayed Parcels
A shipment is deemed lost when tracking shows no movement for ten consecutive business days. We will launch an investigation with the carrier and, if unresolved, send a free replacement or full refund at your preference. Weather disruptions, peak-season backlogs, and customs inspections may extend transit times; those events do not qualify for loss compensation but we will actively trace the box on your behalf.
Change of Address
Requests received before dispatch are updated free of charge. Once a parcel is en-route redirection is possible only with carriers that support intercept service and may incur a fee of fifteen euros. We cannot change country destinations after customs documentation is generated.
Gift Options
During checkout you may enter a separate gift recipient address and include a short personal note transcribed on a seeded paper card that can be planted to grow wildflowers. Prices are never printed on the packing slip.
